Mistress of darkness

As the blistering sun , i have walked many ways of light and of darkness
And now she has left .
My mistress of darkness leaving me somewhat jocund , somewhat bereft.
i stand here at the precipice of dawn which is yet to come,
looking deep into the storm's lair as it lashes lightning at the horizon
my hair plays with the wind oblivious to the goings on within
the breeze blows my patience into the raging inferno distracting me from the dance without

long had she walked along lonely, dark and some fearsome ways.
loathed by some feared by many , she was yet a friend to me

Now she has come to pass.
the delicate touch, the warm wisps of breath, a giving smile and a suggestive glance.
how these have ceased and for what i know not now.
yet with out a sad heart , i rise from my short rest.
thinking much of her and much more of that which is to meet me ahead.
this is a dream of dawn .
a gift from my mistress of darkness

for we might come to meet again
as every step i took has always brought me closer to her

She, who is my own
within whom
light is darkness
and darkness in light
for whom this is written
knows me and
all love's might..
